Fresh from her highly acclaimed role of Estrella Cumpas in the Royal National Theatre production of HERE LIES LOVE, Gia Macuja Atchison has been described by the Sunday Times as “…a real stand out and the real voice of the people.”

Gia was in the original cast of THE LION KING where she played the lead role of Princess Nala in numerous performances. She has also performed both the roles of Gigi and Ellen in the West End run of MISS SAIGON. Other lead roles include, Mary Magdalene in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, Cosette in LES MISERABLES, Luisa in THE FANTASTIKS, and Clara in the Asian Premiere of Sondheim's PASSION. She is one of the three members of the all-Filipina singing group the West End Mamas which received the award for Best New Group in the 2013 Aliw Awards in the Philippines.
